Behrami almost return to Fiorentina

West Ham midfielder Valon Behrami is close to finalising a £4m move to Fiorentina.
Speaking ahead of West Ham’s Carling Cup semi-final 2nd leg clash with Birmingham, Hammers boss Avram Grant revealed:
‘The deal (for Behrami to Fiorentina) is nearly done. I think everything will be OK. It is just formalities and of course money.’
The Swiss international could pen a permanent deal with the Serie A side on Tuesday, ending his two-and-a-half year stay at Upton Park.
Earlier this month Fiorentina vice-president Sandro Mencucci said he expected Behrami to join the club by the end of the transfer window despite interest from Roma for the former Lazio man.
