Champions League rivals’ jibe

SPURS have been slurred by a claim from a rival that they are practically a one-man team.
Manchester City boss Roberto Macini talked up the worth of Gareth Bale and talked down the team.
“Without him, Tottenham lose 50 per-cent of their potential,” said the boss of Spurs’ Champions League rivals.
With the January sales in full swing, Macini identified the starlet as having a disproportionate impact on the quality of the team.
“Last year Bale had already proved his value but his career had not yet taken off.
“Now you would require lots of money (to sign him). she is a pricey player.
