Werder Bremen defender Naldo has revealed that he has received an offer from Brazilian side Internacional.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a good start to the season after the lengthy spell on the sidelines, but he is now tempted by the opportunity to return to Brazil.

Werder Bremen chief Klaus Allofs confirms that they have been contacted by Internacional.

“Naldo has come to me in December and revealed an offer,” Alofs was quoted as saying in Bild. “But, we see no reason to enter the negotiations at this time.”

However, the player reveals that he would like to return to Brazil.

“Brazil is my country and I would be back closer to my family,” Naldo told Bild.

“Internacional will send someone to Bremen to speak with Klaus Alofs.”

Werder reportedly value the player at €7 million, which is well within Internacional’s price range.
