Freiburg’s Cisse denies Liverpool link

Rumoured Liverpool target Papiss Cisse has denied receiving any offers to move away from Freiburg.

The 25-year-old has been one of the stars of Freiburg’s season in this year’s Bundesliga, and has previously admitted that a move to Liverpool would be ‘a dream’.

However, Cisse’s contract ties him to Freiburg until 2014, and the Senegalese striker insists that no offers have been made to take him elsewhere.

‘Everyone is talking about me leaving the club,’ he told Suedwestrundfunk, “but I have not received any concrete offers from another club.”

“And as long as I do not receive anything like that, I am to stay on at Freiburg for sure.

“I enjoy being at this club, it is very tough to find a similar club.”
